I miss my friend Annie ... she was one the sweetest blessings in my life!
she went home to heaven on Oct 9th in the wee hours of the morning.
Her courageous husband had the greatest idea for her memorial
as we sat in her sunroom to plan the service ...
he came up with the thought to recreate the sunroom vignette at the service, which was held in a very large facility overlooking a lake and a waterfall ...
in to her GMC pickup her courageous sons loaded her day bed, her tickings, old family pictures, wicker, sea shells, old shutters, her zinc top coffee table,
her favorite angel, twigs and vines, bittersweet and candles.
As close as we could we tried to copy how Annie would've set up this room, being the perfectionist- stylist that she was.
That's her in the pigtails ...kissing soon to be hubby at the early age of about 19.
They met when they were 17 and called each other bride and groom for 36 years.
Is this not the sweetest memorial ever...

my courageous groom has been out of work since May ...
he started a new job a week ago ...
this is his own personal office.
